San Isidro's Famed Cave Experience (currently not accepting visitors)

Bagumbungan Cave is a 1.9 km long system of caverns with subterranean water pools that get flooded during the rainy season but are dry during the summer. It is considered by the Philippine government as a Class II cave. Class II caves are those with areas or portions which have hazardous conditions and contain sensitive geological, archaeological, cultural, historical and biological values or high quality ecosystem.

Bagumbungan Cave may be reached through public jeepneys from the Santa Cruz poblacion (town center) that ply the Poblacion-Botilao route. It is best however to rent vans for a smoother experience.

Bangcuangan's Spring Water Pools

Three pools carved out of the mountain side where spring waters from the upland parts of the village flow. Locals manage a number of cottages by the pool side rented out to visitors and guests. 

Take a 15-minute tricycle ride from the town proper going to Barangay Bangcuangan.

A group of tricycle operators cater visitors and locals going to Brgy. Bangcuangan from 7AM to 6PM in the municipal town proper near Mercury Drug Store.

Bagakawa Falls: A Trip to Tambangan

Take a 60 min. jeepney ride going to Barangay Tambangan, then a 10 minutes hike going to the falls.

Schedule of trip:
6 am – Barangay Tambangan to Town Proper
10 am – Municipal Public Market going to Barangay Tambangan

* there is only 1 public jeepney servicing the town center to Tambangan route available everyday except Thursdays
